You can get into the holiday spirit during November and December with the Holiday Craft Show and the Festival of Lights & Carols.
When it comes to dining options, Fairfax has a wide selection to choose from. Among local favorites is Mazadar Kabob, featuring Middle Eastern fare. Jaipur Royal Indian Cuisine is home to some of the best Indian food in the region. If you are up for some seafood, you can check out Coastal Flats. The upscale Bellissimo offers Italian cuisine and is ideal for entertaining business clients or for a night out with that special someone. You will also find a variety of Turkish, Greek, Irish, and American fare in Fairfax.
Within the city limits there are 23 parks. That is quite impressive for a city of just six square miles. At Fairfax’s parks you will find plenty of picnic spots, pavilions, sports fields, and playground equipment. There are open spaces where you can breathe in a little fresh air, and there are miles and miles of hiking and biking trails. You will even find horseshoe pits, as well as a barrier-free playground and accessible walking trail.
